Reflective learning video

Just found a really good video about reflective learning from a students perspective. It seems quite creative and gets the message across in 3mins! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWVte5Iwr28

  1. Almost there!

A nice start to a definition but some things missing like mentoring, planning, organising etc:

PS Would like to talk more with you about the use of PebblePad, perhaps off-list?

  2. I agree with you, Ray, but it is a lovely introduction to the whole idea of deliberated and structured reflection for students (although I lost the sound halfway through - perhaps a temporary blip).

The one you cite is okay as far as it goes, but I think it misses the human element that May's vid has oodles of :-)

Might be worth thinking about making similar videos, and perhaps extending the scope to include the missing elements, something of a combination of the two?

  3. Yes Bill, I had ideas to create something similar; possibly in context to the students it's delivered to (course/school).
